Dr Mark Formosa

Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Dr Mark Formosa is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with many years of experience in an acute University Hospital setting. He has acquired extensive experience in gynaecology and is able to offer various solutions to meet different situations. Dr Formosa is a well established gynaecological surgeon with a solid and respected reputation for optimal outcomes. His key interest is the care of the menopausal and post menopausal woman especially in view of new HRT protocols and vaginal rejuvenation technology.

Dr Benjamin Galea

CONSULTANT Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Benjamin Galea is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist , and has been delivering his services to patients  at St James Hospital, Malta, for the last 5 years. His special area of expertise is Early Pregnancy , in fact, soon after returning from the UK he set up of the St James Hospital Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, a new private service to patients in Malta offering specialist care to women with early pregnancy complications.

Mr Galea obtained his primary medical degree in Malta in 2009 and emigrated to the UK to further his postgraduate training. He completed his speciality training in obstetrics and gynaecology in the UK.  He worked at the highly respected Rosie Hospital in Cambridge where he was trained as a Specialist in Early Pregnancy and was subsequently appointed as a Locum Consultant and Early Pregnancy Unit Lead.  As a Consultant ObGyn he  also provided his expert services in advanced labour ward , obstetric medicine and gynaecology.

Dr Benjamin Galea is passionate about ultrasound imaging in ObGyn and apart from being RCOG and IOTA certified, he is also a member of ISUOG (International Society of ObGyn Ultrasound). He is particularly motivated in the development of services, having served as the deputy trainee representative for ObGyn in the East of England Deanery. He has been actively involved in research having participated as a principal investigator in 2 international clinical trials.

He is also a visiting lecturer in ObGyn at the Queen Mary University of London, Malta.

Dr Nicholas Felice

Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Dr Nicholas Felice is a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology presently working in the acute University Hospital in Malta. In this capacity he takes care  all the possible acute emergencies in ObGyn that present to the Hospital. His continued hands-on presence on the Delivery Suite ensures his role as one of the leading Obstetricians in Malta. Dr Nicholas Felice has developed a keen interest in Ultrasound scanning in Obstetrics as part of his antenatal care ensuring the well-being of mother and baby throughout the pregnancy.

Dr Maria Petra Agius

Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

MD MRCOG MRCS EFOG-EBCOG  is a specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a particular interest in infertility and IVF.
She has trained in a number of Centres of excellence, in particular the University of Leuven, Belgium and has published numerous publications in the field.
She is presently working as a Specialist at Mater Dei University Hospital, Malta, where she undertakes her speciality in both Maternity and Gynaecology

B.Sc, M.D, M.Sc, EFOG (EBCOG) is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a particular interest in uro-gynaecology.
He is a Specialist in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Mater Dei Hospital where he is responsible for the care of both maternity and gynaecology patients.
Dr Sammut offers a comprehensive and modern approach to all the problems within the remit of ObGyn and has a keen interest in female urinary incontinence.
